Core Mission: The organization is a non-profit dedicated to high-quality musical education and performance within a collaborative, supportive setting.
Behavioral Standards: Members are required to treat others with dignity, maintain attentiveness during meetings, and show zero tolerance for any form of bullying, harassment, or discrimination.
Attendance and Preparation: Punctuality and attendance at all rehearsals and performances are expected, along with individual preparation of music beforehand.
Etiquette: Members must maintain a quiet, focused environment, use cell phones only for rehearsal-related purposes, and direct questions to leaders respectfully.
Music Care: All music should be marked in pencil and must be returned to the librarian if a member leaves the group.
Financial Obligations: Annual dues are required by November 1, though members facing financial hardship may consult the Treasurer for adjustments.
Substance Policy: Alcohol and illegal substances are strictly prohibited during all group activities, and members must not be impaired.
Disciplinary Action: Violations are handled by the director or board and can escalate from verbal warnings to formal dismissal as outlined in the Bylaws.
